iPhone 4 Speck Candyshell review/giveaway! (ENDED)

The Speck Candyshell  is a great case for what you pay for it. It is a tough case that provides just the right amount of protection. It has a dotted inner rubber/silicon layer that helps the weight of the case. All of the cutouts line up perfect very well with the iPhone 4. The outside of the case has a glossy finish, which does scratch very easily. The rubber material on the inside is designed fo

r shock protection.  This case has a nice tight fit on the iPhone 4 and the phone is very sturdy in the case. The price of this case is around what most other cases cost, but it is a little pricey.  The Candyshell does have a great lay on the table design.

PROS:

Great shock protection
Phone stable in case
All  ports/cutouts perfectly aligned
No wash out effect with flash
Great lay on table design

CONS:

Glossy finish scratches easily
Case adds a noticeable amount of bulk
Price of case is a bit Steep

Overall I would give this case a 4 out of 5 because it is a great design but it scratches too easily.

ZZCase SWIRLITE silicon case review/giveaway!

The swirlite cases from ZZCase for the iPhone 3gs is a great silicon case that comes in ten different colors. One thing that I like about this case is that its swirl design make it a comfortable case when holding your phone. I also like the slim design of the case. All the cutouts (camera, headphone jack, apple logo, vibrate switch) are perfect. One thing didn’t like about this case was that the volume rocker doesn’t feel to reactive and almost feels like it’s not there at all.

PROS:    
- Nice slim/comfortable design
-Perfect cutouts
-Wide color variety

CONS:
Volume rocker feels unresponsive, and feels like it’s not there

I-Up 1800 thoughts/giveaway

The I-UP 1800 is a compact, although just a tad bit thick Backup battery for many devices. The front has one button, and four LED lights, each light showing a different notifications. On the bottom, there is a USB port for plugging in your device, and a mini USB port for charging the I-Up 1800. Of the many attachments included, They include a USB to Apple 30-pin connector, so if you’re using an iPhone or iPod you’re ready to go. With this battery I was averaging about 1 full charge from 20% or lower battery to 100%. One thing I really liked about this battery was that you can charge the battery and device at the same time. Zphonestand Review/Giveaway!

The Zphonestand is a high-grade aluminum stand that is focused for iPhones, iPods, Droids, Blackberry, Nexus One, and more. It is retailed at 24.95 USD plus shipping and handling. It currently comes in three different colors: Executive Black, Deep Candy Red, and Ano Silver, but could be produced in any color because it is powder coated aluminum. The Zphonestand works with any cases on the device. A great feature of this stand is that there is pretty large cutout so you can feed you sync/charge cable to your phone even with it in the Stand with no messy wire problems. Getting the device into this stand is a very easy process. When the iPhone is in the stand it will not scratch because there is padding everywhere the stand touches the phone. Also everything is exposed so you can still listen to music with or without headphones while your phone is in the stand. When listening to music, the design of the stand allows the sound to bounce and it amps up the sound. One thing I like about this stand is the stability of it unlike some other stands. On the bottom, there are rubber pads so the stand will not move when using the devise in it. Also I like that the stand won’t tip when using the devise in it. This stand is a 5 out of 5. Versihold Personal Media Stand Review!

The Versihold Personal Media Stand is built to hold iPhone, iPod touch, Zune, nexus one, and many more devices. If you’re wondering, the versihold media stand is perfectly safe for you device, as there is rubber pieces on the top, and bottom of the clamp that holds your device. When using the versihold stand, you don’t need to worry about it slipping off the surface it is on because there is rubber on the bottom of all the legs. The versihold stand can be used in landscape, or portrait mode.  One thing I noticed was that portrait mode was hard to get into. You will also be able to use almost any case with this Stand unless you are using a really thick case. The versihold is designed to be easily transported, so when it is closed it is very compact which is a great feature. One problem I ran into was that when I was in portrait mode it was a little unstable. The versihold personal media Stand is valued at 19.95 USD which is a very reasonable price. Agent 18 ShockSheild Review/Giveaway

The Agent 18 Shockshield comes in 5 colors, and is valued at $19.95. Green, blue, purple, yellow, orange, and pink are the color selections. One of the very first things I noticed about this case, was the quality of the silicon. I have had silicon cases in the past that are truly dust magnets but the Shocksheild attracts little to no dust. The feel of this case is great. It has a nice rugged back, which serves two purposes. First, it gives you a really nice grip on the phone, and it also helps by absorbing shock when you drop your phone hence the name Shocksheild. Also, I will add that you have complete access to your ring vibe switch, which is a problem with some other silicon cases. Also all of your ports are open enough to get to them no problem, and the camera hole is dead on. The home button is nicely covered with the case which in my opinion adds character to the case. The only con with this case, was that it is not easy to get in and out of your pocket. Included with the case is a table stand and a screen protector. Casemate Barely There Review

The case-mate barely there is a snap on case. It comes in a glossy or matte finish, and retails for 19.99 and does include a screen shield  and microfiber. To install this case, put your phone in button side first, then snap the other side in. If you are worried that this case will bubble your screen protector, don’t be. This case has no lay on the table design and most of your chrome is exposed. There is a cutout for your apple logo. The volume rocker and vibe switch are easily accessable. Both the top and bottom are completely exposed. The camera hole is a tad off-center but does not affect the picture that you take. This case lives up to its name in the sence of feeling like it’s barely there. This case is not super protective but has really good style,and has a really nice feel when on the phone. My final thoughts of this case is that I would use this case if I wasnt looking for a lot of protection but for style. Toddler Time Christmas app review

Toddler Time Christmas is an iPod touch/iPhone app that retails for .99 in the app store. When you first startup Toddler Time Christmas, you have four options. The four options are: Advent Calender, Christmas Characters, Twelve Days Of Christmas, and Food. When you select Christmas Characters, it brings up a character with the character’s name under it. If you tap the character it makes a sound effect, and if you press the name it says the name. When you select Twelve Days of Christmas, you hit the white box with lettering in it and it says what happens on the first day of Christmas. When you hit next it says what is meant for the second day of Christmas. This goes on all the way up to the twelve days of Christmas. When you select Food, you can choose from many different Christmas foods by hitting next or back. When you select a food, if you tap the box that says what kind of food it is, it will say it for you. One thing that is really good about this app is that the kids will really get into this app because of how kid friendly it is. Picoman Games has also created other Toddler Time apps that an educational and kid friendly. These apps include Toddler Time Spanish, Italian, French and much more so check them out. this app is deserving of a 9 out of 10 and you should really check it out!

NailDodger App Review

NailDodger is an iPod/iPhone app that retails for 99 cents. As you open this app, you come to a menu that says Play, Settings, and About. When you press play, a window pops up. You can choose to start or read instructions. When you press start you come to a screen  with a balloon that says tap to start. As you tap the screen to start the game, nails start falling from the sky. The point of the game is to make the balloon dodge the falling nails. You can be hit by nails two times before you pop. On the third time you get hit by a nail, your balloon pops, bringing up a window. The window says Post Score To twitter, Submit to OpenFeint, Restart, and Go Back. When you hit Post Score To Twitter, It asks you for your twitter information. When you fill in your information it sends your scores to twitter. If you press Restart it restarts, and if you hit Go Back it brings you to the main menu. A really great feature that I really like about this app is that you can listen to your music while playing the game. I also like how you can post your scores directly to twitter. I give this app a solid 9 out of 10 (great app).
